What Will You Be Doing?
The Sr. Manager, Growth & Airport Strategy owns the strategic planning, prioritization, and delivery of Frontier’s airport growth, real estate, and infrastructure investment portfolio. The role directly manages a multi-airport portfolio, guides capital allocation decisions, and drives cross-functional alignment across Network Planning, Finance, Operations, Government Affairs, Facilities, and Airport Affairs.
The Manager is responsible for delivering measurable growth outcomes, assigned by station annually in partnership with internal stakeholder groups, including capacity expansion, cost optimization, and long-term real estate positioning. The role requires enterprise-level judgement, independent decision-making, and end-to-end accountability for growth success, risk mitigation, and station financial performance.
Essential Functions
- Lead, architect, and govern cross-functional growth, cost-reduction, and capacity expansion strategies with direct impact on airport P&L and enterprise growth targets
- Serve as Frontier’s senior liaison with airport authorities, commercial partners, and government stakeholders, negotiating real estate, facilities access, and long-term growth positioning
- Consult and coordinate with internal stakeholders to streamline decision-making and maximize impact
- Co-own financial modeling, investment evaluation, and capital allocation decisions in partnership with FP&A to ensure returns meet Frontier’s cost and growth thresholds
- Partner with the Facilities team to drive high-impact airport infrastructure and facilities programs, ensuring alignment with Frontier’s goals and operational priorities
- Enhance communication systems to improve structured reporting to leadership and internal stakeholders for ongoing initiatives
- Own the development of airport growth targets, portfolio prioritization, financial evaluations, and scenario analyses, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic growth plans
- Lead executive-level presentations, providing updates on program status, risks, and ROI to senior leadership.
- Drive multi-year portfolio planning, integrating capacity, cost, regulatory, and operational considerations
- Lead negotiations related to airport use, facilities expansion, commercial terms, and long-term real estate positioning
- Establish and manage governance processes for airport development initiatives, ensuring executive visibility and alignment
- Provide strategic leadership and mentoring to analysts and cross-functional contributors
- Think like a COO.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, Finance, or relevant field of study.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, aviation/airport strategy, infrastructure delivery, consulting, or capital program management.
- Experience in transportation, airline, or aviation-related field preferred.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Preference to candidates with experience negotiating commercial, real estate, and airport agreements

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Executive presence and ability to influence senior leadership
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and make independent, data-driven decisions with enterprise impact.
- Expertise in structuring complex, multi-year business cases and negotiating agreements
- Proven track record of strong decision making, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and fostering internal and external relationships.
- Strong leadership presence with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with focus on results.
- Experience in creating and delivering effective presentations.
- Solid understanding and performance of financial analysis.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools is preferred.
- Ability to travel on company-supported initiatives up to 40% of the time.
