Position Summary:
This position will develop strategies and lead PEC staff to achieve PEC’s Vision and sales growth goals assigned to its geographical area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and have oversight of office-wide/region business development, sales, community involvement, and client relationships
- Implement PEC’s strategic plan for the specific office location
- Pursue sustainable growth that achieves the vision and revenue goals set forth for the specific office location
- Deliver our purpose to clients by exemplifying the role of a consultant. Serve as a guide to help maintain focus on goals and visions
- Develop sales strategies and lead the implementation of sales strategies within the assigned market
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to deliver exceptional client service
- Assist in the development of client management strategies that are tailored to the client and their needs
- Develop, implement, and lead a Community Involvement Plan for the specific office
- Identify clients needing a Client Service Manager and work with Market SVPs and Technical VPs to assign a Client Service Manager
- Ensure effective strategy execution by providing guidance to internal client managers
- Identify geographic staffing needs to support company-wide sales and growth
- Manage business development and community engagement efforts by strategically targeting projects that align with the firm’s purpose and vision
- Achieve and maintain the PEC vision as holistic industry and infrastructure solutions providers
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion
Special Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Community service or other involvement (economic development, social, or philanthropic participation) experience is a plus
- Prior engineering consulting project management experience is preferred, although project management will not be performed in this position

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field required
- Minimum of five (5) years in Architectural/Engineering Consulting (AEC) business development and sales preferred
License and Certification:
- Licensure by a State Board of Technical Professions is preferred

Duties involved require moving materials that weigh up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and similar machines. At times, bending, reaching, standing, and walking may be required.
