We are currently seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist who will be responsible for creative development and tactical execution of marketing and advertising materials to support the Marketing Department’s strategic vision. This includes, but is not limited to, designing, and coding emails for multiple Xanterra Travel Collection® brands on a weekly basis via HubSpot; managing the day-to-day upkeep, content, and optimization of all park-related web properties within the portfolio; as well as serving as a graphic designer for print and digital advertising units. Additionally, the position will work collaboratively with the internal Commercial Analyst and Marketing Operations Manager and external agencies to help coordinate advertising, social media, and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) efforts.
Responsibilities
Tactical Digital Marketing:
- Responsible for day-to-day management and upkeep of the Corporate website as well as affiliated company websites.
- Design and email marketing communications via HubSpot.
- Contribute to strategies for advertising, email schedule, media plans, content strategy, social media strategy, SEO, etc.
- Manage Xanterra Travel Collection®’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform.
Centralized Creative Services:
- Collaborate with other XTC brands to share knowledge and assist in implementation of digital initiatives.
- Work with designated brands and agencies to coordinate and execute digital marketing campaigns to maximize website traffic, conversions and goals, and revenue.
- Serve as a crucial part of the day-to-day creative production of digital and non-digital assets, whether personally or with the help of agency partners, to support brands within the portfolio as needed.
- Assist with ingestion and post-production of owned photo and video assets after photo/video shoots.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing website content management systems, SEM, SEO, organic and paid social media, programmatic media, and other digital media.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or similar.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud suite of tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, and InDesign in particular) for creative development.
- Results-oriented with the proven ability to identify, track, and report on KPIs for digital marketing campaigns.
- Practical hands-on experience setting up, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated digital marketing programs.
- Excellent planning, time management, and organization skills.
- Superior organization, communication, presentation, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter who can work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
- Ability to manage a diverse set of tasks, prioritize workload, and deliver results against deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $58,000.00 – $68,000.00 based on experience plus incentive.
