Description
The copywriter role requires competence in writing for a variety of mediums. We produce printed materials such as brochures, one-sheets, and product guides, as well as a variety of digital content for email, website, and social media engagement. This role works within a team of copywriters, designers, videographers, and strategists to support various sales and marketing initiatives and reports to the creative services copy director or manager.
Responsibilities and expectations

Research, develop ideas and create original copy tailored to selected audience personas using the appropriate brand voice and tone principles

Edit and improve existing content

Collaborate with product and sales team members to understand the goals of a campaign, the functionality of relevant products, key messages and considerations

Collaborate with creative teams to support the creation and selection of relevant visual elements

Accept creative feedback, edits and demand for multiple iterations of work from various stakeholders with grace and an eagerness to get it right

Collaborate with your team to edit, share knowledge, support and improve the collective output and impact of your work

Develop subject matter expertise about company products, solutions, distribution model and the fintech industry at large

Work within the project management software (Wrike) to understand, plan, develop, adjust and deliver content along multiple project timelines
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, PR, English or related field

2 years experience in a writing-centric role

Exceptional communication, creative writing and editing skills

Portfolio of work that showcases writing abilities and scope of proficiency

Ability to maintain regular communication with the team and availability during standard business hours

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment

Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality content quickly

Proficiency in written Spanish or French language is a plus

Experience in an agency or corporate environment is a plus

Experience in fintech, banking or technology is a plus
