ROLE SUMMARY

NoCo Community AdSpace is looking for a smart, amiable and motivated Lead Generation Specialist to help our advertising business scale.  You will work directly with the owner to generate qualified leads and set appointments for the creation of advertising proposals.  By helping build advertising revenue for NoCo Community AdSpace you will build a substantial monthly residual income for yourself as well!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Prospecting.  You will research and identify new advertiser client opportunities by leveraging Chamber of Commerce resources and attending local business networking events.  Cold-call outreach (i.e. walk-ins, phone calls, email) will also be required to fill the sales pipeline.
  • Strategic Outreach and Appointment-setting.  You will own the initial contact with prospects, educating them on the value of billboard advertising and digital marketing to deliver on their growth objectives and can tailor it to a specific business for maximum impact.

  • Sales Pipeline Management.  You will collaborate with the owner to develop scalable pipeline management workflows that allow us to maintain visibility to scheduled appointments, and capture prospect insights and marketplace learning.  Comfort using a CRM and/or Project Management Software (currently Monday.com) is necessary.

CANDIDATE TRAITS

  • You must live locally within a commutable distance to Boulder County, Colorado.  Remote applicants will not be considered.
  • You must be a natural networker (and should probably enjoy it) if you are to succeed in this role.  Trust is the currency of local business interactions.

  • You are a natural sleuth in identifying the right contact person and possess the stamina to nurture a relationship from initial contact to first meeting to a request for proposal.

  • You are comfortable establishing a warm rapport with people that you meet, earning the right to have deeper conversations about business needs and opportunities to work together.

  • You have the necessary organizational skills and attention to detail to manage the progress of dozens of leads in varying stages of development.

  • You are coachable in accepting feedback and implementing it to improve your results.

  • Prior advertising sales experience involving digital marketing solutions (e.g. SEO, SEM, Paid Social Media) will merit strong consideration.  

  • To maximize your opportunities, you will have to work hard and learn quickly.

As a new hire you will receive extensive, in-person training from our franchisor parent company – so that you are empowered to start bringing in income within weeks of starting!

COMPENSATION

This position is a 1099 contractor sales position.  While we cannot offer benefits at this time, your earning potential is uncapped, and on-target earnings are planned to be between $60,000 – $80,000 annually.

Base Compensation: $2,000 per month

Incentive-based compensation: 

  1. A flat payout of $150 will be awarded for each qualified lead.

  2. A commission equal to Month 1 of sold revenue will be awarded for leads that convert.

  3. Once you are fully ramped up into your lead generation responsibilities (~6 months), additional Sales Operations responsibilities may be delegated that will add another $400-$500 per month to your base compensation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The vast majority of our business is conducted in Boulder County and the surrounding communities.  A car will be required to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.  Occasional evening, early morning and/or weekend hours may be required to attend networking/social events – and it is assumed these situations will be utilized to fulfill lead generation responsibilities.

We will provide the software access for your work responsibilities, but you must have a laptop with a webcam, microphone and reliable internet access.
