The Longmont Times-Call newspaper in Boulder County, Colo., is looking for a full-time, aggressive, enterprising and inquisitive multimedia reporter who will be able to juggle breaking news, multiple daily stories and briefs, data-based trend pieces and longer-term investigative projects. This reporter will cover all manner of breaking news out of the Longmont area, including police and crime, court proceedings and other general-assignment subjects.

Voqal Fund Director

The Voqal Fund Director assists Voqal in making grants in a variety of fields, including: traditional and new media, online organizing, on-the-ground organizing, reducing the influence of money in politics, ballot initiative campaigns, leadership development and other endeavors intended to promote progressive social change.

The Fund Director is responsible for strategy development, implementation, management, supervision and evaluation of the organization’s grant-making program in accordance with the standards set out by the Voqal boards of directors.

As a member of the senior management team, the Fund Director participates in strategic planning and budgeting initiatives in addition to problem solving. He/she works within the guidelines, policies and mission of the organization and will be accountable and responsible for specific projects as assigned.

Grants Associate

The Grants Associate is responsible for facilitating grants administration operations for the Voqal Fund.

It is the responsibility of the Grants Associate to oversee grantee contract requirements and performance; draft grant and other contracts; administrate Foundant software and maintain grant records. In addition, with Program Officer oversight, the Grants Associate will monitor and report on grant strategy budgets and ensure compliance with organizational and IRS rules and regulations.

Longmont Museum Auditorium & Events Manager

The diverse and growing City of Longmont, CO is seeking to fill the position of Auditorium and Event Manager, responsible for overseeing the dynamic activities in the Stewart Auditorium, Swan Atrium, and Kaiser Permanente Education Center at the Longmont Museum. Must be enthusiastic and responsive to public needs. Lead the development of relevant and successful auditorium programming, including collaborations with community partners. Manage facility rentals with savvy customer service skills and a keen understanding of AV technologies. Thrive in an active, multi-tasking environment. We need an energetic organizer with a passion for coordinating vibrant community events, and someone who is a creative planner interested in bringing quality performing arts to the public. Applicants are required to have any combination of experience and education equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university plus two to three years of experience in event management, performing arts productions & programming, and/or facility rentals. AV technical experience preferred.
