Position Title:  Government and Regulatory Affairs Manager
Job Announcement:  October 14, 2026

We are Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) and we’re in the fun business. CSCUSA is the Denver-based not-for-profit trade association representing 20 ski areas across Colorado, including small, medium, and large ski areas. CSCUSA’s areas of focus include government affairs, communications and skier/rider growth.

Back to the fun part. CSCUSA has an exciting role open for just the right person—and we’re hoping it’s you. We’re looking for someone who loves public policy and government affairs—and who wants to learn about and represent the Colorado ski industry on a wide variety of issues.  The role is more policy than politics since Colorado skiing and snowboarding is something we can all agree is a good thing.

To be real: you’ve got to know your way around the legislative branch of Colorado’s state government, be hungry to learn about how the ski industry operates and how and where it’s regulated, have great social skills and personal presence, and have double black diamond organizational skills that have been honed in prior positions.

Position Summary
The Government and Regulatory Affairs Director will manage government affairs programming at Colorado Ski Country USA, gather CSCUSA member input on key policy and regulatory issues, be part of a small but mighty organization and support the association’s communications work on policy issues.

The manager will monitor the regulatory activities of multiple state and federal agencies and weigh in on key issues for CSCUSA’s membership as needed.
