Director of Regional Advocacy – Metro Denver

As the Director of Regional Advocacy, you will be responsible for leading and working within districts and school communities to assist charter school leaders, families, and staff in developing and executing multi-level advocacy agendas. The Director of Regional Advocacy will be responsible for creating strategies to build knowledge and skills among a network of school leaders, parents, teachers, and supporters and then mobilizing them around local and statewide charter school priorities.

Political Analyst/Tracker

Provides critical support in upcoming elections for the 2021 and 2022 cycle by tracking campaign information, community events, district meetings, and candidates for elections in school board and Democratic Primary elections to assist the Political Director and State Director in making endorsement and support decisions. Ideal for extroverted applicants who enjoy networking with candidates and their teams, and have experience working on campaigns and in public policy.

Communications Director

The Colorado Senate Democrats are seeking a highly skilled Communications Director. The Communications Director is responsible for developing and disseminating caucus messaging, and amplifying the successes of Senate Democrats at the Capitol. They are responsible for frequently interfacing with the press corps as well as advocacy partners – answering questions, driving a narrative, and coordinating support. They also exist as a resource for media training, messaging guidance, and crisis support.

Manager, Impact and Operations

The Manager of Impact and Operations plays a central role in ensuring the organization functions smoothly, helping cultivate a strong culture, and ensuring that donors are well-informed. Your responsibilities will expose you to all aspects of our organization and work and you’ll manage a team of three associates.

Manager of Policy and External Relations

The Manager of Policy and External Relations plays a key role in the Office of Government and Community Engagement (OGCE) by supporting both the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Public Policy and Advocacy and the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Local Government and Community Engagement, as well as the rest of CU campus leadership, with CU Boulder’s policy work at the state, federal and local levels of government.
