Director of Policy

he CWSF and Western Forestry Leadership Coalition (WFLC) Director of Policy works to inform and improve public policies and programs that benefit western forests. Serves as a representative to internal and external audiences at national, regional, and state levels, including with Congressional staff, members, and partner organizations.

Community Engagement Intern

This position provides the opportunity to work with the Conservancy staff, volunteers, youth ambassadors and community members to support trail stewardship and community engagement grounded in accessibility and inclusivity. The Community Engagement Intern (Intern)will assist with executing on-the-ground community programs throughout the year, including recreational, educational and stewardship programs.

Public Information Officer

The position exists to create a positive public image for the Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC). This position reports directly to the CDEC Communications Unit Manager and assists with establishing and maintaining lines of communication, acceptance, and cooperation between CDEC and its various stakeholders and constituencies, including state, local, and national media.

Human Dimensions Specialist

This position will proactively identify applied social science needs within Colorado Parks and Wildlife and developing robust social science approaches to carry them out.

Government Relations Specialist

This position is responsible for coordinating and engaging the Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) local government affairs with County Commissioners, Mayors, City Councilmembers, and stakeholder organizations that participate in local government advocacy and policy related matters. Additionally, this position will assist and facilitate local elected official outreach and activities with RTD’s Board of Directors.

Director of Policy and Legislative Affairs

The Director of Policy and Legislative Affairs directs the Colorado Department of Corrections’ (DOC) policy, legislative and governmental relations by representing the Department with the Governor’s office and before legislators, federal and local government, state agencies, other governmental agencies, and interest groups with respect to legislative policy and all areas of intergovernmental relations.

Assistant VP Federal Relations & Outreach

The Assistant Vice President of Federal Relations and Outreach  is a member of the University of Colorado (CU) Office of Government Relations (OGR) team. This position will be the lead lobbyist for the federal government relations team located in Colorado, with periodic travel to Washington, D.C., and serve as a liaison with System administration on federal issues as directed by Sr VP  of External Relations and Strategy.
