As the organizational community for CFP® professionals, the FPA staff is dedicated to creating an exceptional experience for its members and volunteer leaders while moving the profession of financial planning forward.

One of the fundamental ways that FPA helps build the financial planning profession is through its pro bono efforts – helping FPA members serve individuals who need financial planning advice but who cannot afford the services of a financial planner.
Faced with mounting debt, rising costs of college, retirement and healthcare, many individuals need advice on how to plan and manage their finances wisely and through FPA’s pro bono program, FPA closes the gap between the need for quality financial advice from trusted professionals and the inability of some people to hire a financial planning professional.

PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Working with the Vice President and Director of Development, the Program Coordinator contributes to all aspects of the association’s programs held, the related communication efforts and assists in the day to day operations and administrative work of the association. In this position the program coordinator is responsible for the planning and implementation of 40+ events, including working with speakers, negotiating contracts with vendors and publicizing events to the association’s constituents.

Additionally, the program coordinator assists in administrative work, including scheduling committee meetings, assisting the president & CEO with meeting logistics, and general office work.

Director of Business Development

Position Summary
The Director of Business Development reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is a part of the leadership team and is responsible for management, oversight and success of business development and outreach programs, including activities that lead to increased public awareness needs, grants, public relations, communications, and business development. This position manages all aspects of CRHC’s membership constituency and is responsible for planning and organizing events and/or meetings for the organization and business development, including Health Information Technology (HIT) services, group purchasing and other fee-for-service. The Director of Business Development works with the Chief Executive Officer and others on the CRHC team to strategize, plan, and implement effective special events to educate our constituents, increase awareness of rural health issues, market, track and develop fee-for-service and promote the Colorado Rural Health Center.
