Summary of Position

Red Rocks Community College (RRCC) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Grant Project Manager to lead the execution of the Opportunity Now Aerospace Manufacturing initiative. This temporary position reports to the Director of Aerospace Manufacturing and is responsible for the oversight and coordination of all grant-funded activities aimed at strengthening aerospace workforce development in the region. This position is grant-funded and contingent upon continued funding. This position has been exempted from the State Classified System.

The Grant Project Manager will manage timelines, budgets, compliance, and performance reporting to ensure alignment with funder requirements and institutional protocols. The role also involves facilitating stakeholder collaboration with industry leaders, educators, and community organizations to support curriculum development, micro-credentials, and high-impact training programs.

The successful candidate will foster cross-functional partnerships to align educational offerings with employer needs, support outreach efforts to increase program visibility—particularly among underrepresented communities—and help integrate workforce training initiatives across departments for long-term sustainability.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

•Knowledge of non-credit activities that occur at a community college 
•Knowledge of college processes for instructor pay, course scheduling, travel, and purchasing 
•Knowledge of student information database systems like (Banner9, CampusCE, CRMs) 
•Skilled with record keeping, file auditing, and organizing data 
•Skills in customer service and relationship management 
•Ability to manage customer expectations and deliver satisfactory training programs 
•Ability to coordinate trainers, customers/employers, and students in a training environment 
•Ability to track participant data and report on outcomes. 

Required Qualifications

•Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
•One year of administrative or operations experience in training, education, or related setting. 
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Website, CRMs, and data entry systems. 

Preferred Qualifications

•Experience with CampusCE, MS Teams, Banner, or other course registration platforms. 
•Knowledge of continuing education, workforce training, or community-based programming. 
•Strong organizational and communication skills. 

Physical & Cognitive Demands

The following are some of the physical and cognitive demands commonly associated with this position.

•Occasionally moves, positions, and transports files and office materials weighing up to 10 lbs. 
•This is largely a sedentary role. This position operates in an office environment and constantly uses a computer, and routinely uses standard office equipment including phones, copiers, etc.
•The person in this position constantly communicates with internal and external constituents and students. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
•Cognitive demands include comparing, copying, computing, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, synthesizing, negotiating, communicating, instructing, and interpersonal skills.

Starting Salary 
Starting salary range for this position is $68,181 – $75,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience. 
This is a full-time, FLSA-exempt position. This position is grant-funded and contingent upon continued funding. This position has been exempted from the State Classified System.
