Haselden Construction is seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager with a strong focus on corporate events. This role is a hands-on, execution-driven position responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering Haselden’s key internal and external corporate events and supporting marketing/communications deliverables tied to those events and corporate initiatives. Additionally, this person will also work closely with executives to execute the marketing strategy, own events, support committees, coordinate vendors and logistics, oversee and help develop event communications and materials, and ensure high-quality, consistent brand presentations. This position may coordinate with Business Development on corporate-level writing items (e.g., company messaging, award narratives, project highlights, and other corporate content) as needed but does not oversee proposals or business development activities. This position will report to the Vice President of HR.
Job Responsibilities:
Corporate Events and Committee Leadership
- Own planning and execution of Haselden’s corporate events (internal and external), including timelines, budgets, venues, vendors, registration/invitations, run-of-show, and onsite coordination.
- Coordinate with HR, Executive Assistants, and internal stakeholders to plan and execute culture events across offices and project locations, ensuring consistent experience and messaging
- Lead event committees: set meeting cadence and agendas, assign action items, drive accountability, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Manage event vendors and contracts (catering, A/V, rentals, signage, photography, gifts, transportation, etc.).
- Develop event plans (checklists, schedules, volunteers, etc.) to ensure consistent execution and high-quality attendee experience.
- Produce event communications and materials: invitations, attendee communications, agendas, scripts/talking points, presentations support, signage, and post-event follow-up/recaps.
Corporate Marketing and Communications Execution
- Produce enterprise-wide marketing communications, including advertising, website management, social media, and sponsorship initiatives, in collaboration with the communications coordinator.
- Creatively develop and refine content as needed, including articles, award submissions, press releases, website updates, and ad or social content.
- Create and maintain an enterprise content library including event content, project content, templates, photography, and branded materials.
- Oversee and approve internal and external content to ensure enterprise initiatives and the Haselden brand are positively positioned and consistently represented.
- Provide graphic design support on internal and external projects as needed (layout, basic design, coordination with vendors/partners).
- Lead efforts to enhance digital presence, lead generation, and data-driven decision-making (e.g., web analytics, engagement metrics, and reporting).
- Evaluate market trends and competitive insights to identify opportunities for marketing campaigns, communications, sponsorships, and event programming.
- Analyze marketing campaign performance, customer insights, and market research to refine future efforts and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop marketing and website content-management approaches; research and recommend new tools, tactics, and processes for innovation and competitive advantage.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication platforms and marketing touchpoints, aligning visual and messaging standards with Haselden brand guidelines.
- Guide and execute enterprise brand initiatives in coordination with internal stakeholders and executive leadership team.
- Manage the internal apparel store and specialty apparel orders.
- Collaborate with department heads and enterprise leaders to ensure internal and external marketing initiatives support business priorities and growth.
- Proactive industry involvement by researching and participating in professional organizations and community relations activities.
- Act as a culture advocate to build Haselden’s brand awareness internally and externally.
- Develop and report key marketing metrics, including leading and lagging indicators, to measure performance and efficiency.

Job Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism or related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive marketing and event related experience.
- At least 2 years of experience of managing and mentoring a team.
- Occasionally early mornings, evenings, and weekends are expected to support event execution.
- A high degree of energy, enthusiasm, tenacity, and creativity.
- Strong team skills and desire to contribute positively to team success is critical.
- Proficient in Adobe, Canva and Microsoft Office products, particularly Adobe Suite, (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are required.
- Extreme attention to detail is required.
- Strong business acumen with a focus on aligning marketing strategies with organizational growth and revenue objectives.
- Experience in managing comprehensive marketing campaigns, from advertising to web content and social media strategies.
- Knowledgeable in marketing analytics, budget management, and vendor negotiation.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, web analytics, social media, and email marketing.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Willing to travel within Colorado, Montana, Wyoming as needed.
Salary: The salary range for this position is $95,000 – $120,000 per year. Salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities.
