Nature of Work:
The Director of Match Presentation is responsible for creating, producing, and executing an exceptional in-stadium experience for all home matches. This role oversees the full creative and operational vision of matchday entertainment—ensuring the club’s brand, culture, and energy are brought to life through coordinated storytelling, production, and fan engagement. The Director will lead all elements of the match presentation process, including scripting, run-of-show, technical production, content creation, sponsor activations, and in-game entertainment.
This position requires a creative, strategic and highly organized leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can collaborate with multiple departments to deliver a seamless, world-class matchday product.
Examples of work performed:
Matchday Production & Creative Direction
- Develop and execute the creative vision for all home match presentations, ensuring a high-quality, engaging fan experience aligned with club brand standards.
- Produce and maintain matchday scripts, rundowns, cues, and timelines; oversee all creative elements including video board content, audio, lighting, and field-level activations.
- Lead pre-match, halftime, and post-match entertainment concepts, including ceremonies, performances, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with technical crews to ensure flawless execution of all production elements (AV, LED boards, pyro, lighting, cameras, etc.).
Planning & Coordination
- Manage the full match presentation lifecycle—from concept through execution—for 15 home matches and additional club events as needed.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Communications, Digital, Partnerships, Operations, Security, and Soccer Operations to align matchday activities and messaging.
- Oversee production meetings, rehearsals, timing logs, and operational plans.
Fan Engagement & Experience
- Develop Club first concepts to enhance atmosphere, player experience, fan rituals, traditions, and engagement – laying the foundation for a multi-generational fan base and delivering excellence in the fan and player experience
- Ensure overall tone, energy, and pacing of the matchday program enhances fan satisfaction and drives repeat attendance.
- Work closely with the supporters’ groups to maintain authenticity and elevate the live experience.
- Sponsorship Integration
- Collaborate with the Partnerships team to deliver high-quality, on-brand sponsor activations without compromising flow of match presentation.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met and integrated seamlessly into the run-of-show.
Content & Media Production
- Work with internal and external creative teams to develop matchday visual and audio content, including hype videos, graphics, prompts, and fan engagement features.
- Develop the creative vision for theme night specific assets and experiential content, creating unique and purpose driven content that highlights, educates and celebrates the community
- Ensure all content is consistent with club messaging, and optimized for stadium presentation
- Collaborate with social and digital teams to bring game experience to life across all touch points with consumers
Leadership & Budget Management
- Supervise and support staff involved in match presentation, including production crew, hosts, DJs, and other game-day talent.
- Manage the match presentation budget, including staffing, equipment, and entertainment costs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
Minimum
- 5–7+ years of experience in live event production, sports entertainment, broadcast, or related field
- Proven experience leading large-scale, high-pressure live events
- Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred
- Experience in professional or collegiate sports.
- Knowledge of stadium production technologies (Ross XPression, ShowFlo, Daktronics, Blackmagic/Tricaster, audio systems).
- Background in managing entertainment talent and creative vendors.
- Passion for soccer and supporter culture.
- Certification, licensure, or additional degree

Compensation:
- Base salary range $90,000-$100,000 per annum
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
