Job Summary
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for project managing Denver Health website upgrades and enhancements, along with updating daily content needs for the DenverHealth.org website. The role is responsible for working with the overall Marketing team and individual hospital departments to create new content or revise/update existing content, and publishing within the Sitecore Content Management system (Sitecore CMS). Develops SEO strategy and execution of SEO strategy for department webpages – monitoring keyword usage and optimization. Works with digital marketing manager to establish and implement advertising campaign tracking via Google Tag Manager, and leads in building landing pages for advertising campaigns. Works with the overall Marketing team to enhance the website and webpages with blogs, podcasts, videos, photos, graphics, and other opportunities. Uses Denver Health's project management system regarding website content and work requests, and copy edits content using AP Style. Ensures larger website projects are managed through website vendor, Marketing leadership, IT project managers and leaders, and the CMS vendor. In addition, the role will assist in the strategy of other Denver Health website properties.
Essential Functions:
- Leads project management of new website customization and feature additions – acting as the Point of Contact between the Denver Health website vendor (Proficient), CMS vendor lead (Sitecore), Marketing leadership and IT Project Manager. (10%)
- Works with hospital departments and Marketing team to build, manage and maintain the DenverHealth.org website – to include SEO, content management and site improvements. Reviews website to correct bugs and improve areas of the website with poor performance (i.e. page load time, site speed, broken links, etc.). Works on these requests within the department’s project management system (Trello) to communicate request updates/completions to departments and other members of the Marketing team. (10%)
- Builds and executes SEO plans for strategic service-lines / hospital departments. (10%)
- Measures and optimizes overall website and department webpage performance using via data visualization dashboards, via metrics from Google Analytics and other marketing analytics/advertising reports as applicable. (10%)
- Supports advertising campaigns with landing page development, reporting and tracking implementation. (10%)
- Confirms website and SEO datasets are accurate within BI tools (DOMO). (10%)
- Works with Denver Health medical staffing office to maintain accuracy of the online provider directory. (10%)
- Develops engaging digital graphics to support communication initiatives. (10%)
- Keeps abreast of website tools, enhancements and add-on features to enhance the user experience, including, chat bots, pop-ups, messaging services and others. Makes recommendations as appropriate. (10%)
- Develops contingency plans with IT team for website outages. Scope includes preparing homepage replacement information with phone numbers and details for patients to be deployed in case the website is offline. (10%)
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Work Experience:
- Three to five years professional experience in website publication work, marketing, digital communications, or related field. Required and
- Experience with SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Search Console and Google Optimize. Required
Licenses:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Background in CMS management (Sitecore preferred).
- Solid understanding of SEO with a proven track record of increasing organic traffic.
- Proven writing skills and copyediting skills (AP Style).
- HTML with Javascript/CSS understanding preferred
- Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) preferred.
- Spanish language skills a plus.
