Communications Specialist – Mission Support Centers
Location: Denver, CO multiple locations

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-Day Marketing and Communications Support: Manage Flocknote by designing branded templates, developing strategies, and scheduling weekly content. Create weekly bulletin designs aligned with parish branding and oversee distribution. Plan, create, and schedule social media posts with a consistent strategy. Review monthly analytics to refine website and social media efforts.
  • Marketing Project Coordination: Coordinate marketing projects by developing branding templates, style guides, and supporting visual identity needs, including logo updates. Facilitate website migrations to Wix, provide content editing, and train staff. Assist with public relations by connecting parishes and schools to the Archdiocesan Communications Director. Offer training and support for tools like Flocknote, Canva, Wix, and Catholic social media platforms.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Provide resources and recommendations for marketing needs, including social media, websites, events, and multimedia production. Generate reports, attend regular meetings, and suggest content and process improvements to enhance communication efforts. Foster clear, effective collaboration with parish and school teams to align with Archdiocesan goals.

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • A practicing Catholic eager to carry out the mission of the Archdiocese to rescue all people in Jesus Christ for the glory of the Father.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on marketing or communications experience.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with a positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Skilled in marketing and communication functions, including branding, cohesive messaging, design principles, digital/print media, photo editing, videography, and livestreaming.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual (English-Spanish) proficiency in a professional setting is a plus.
  • Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop), and Microsoft 365; experience with platforms like WordPress, Squarespace, bulk email tools, and Adobe Rush is a plus.
