The Role We're looking for a Creative Director, Copy who is more than a talented wordsmith — you're a strategic thinker, a creative instigator, and a dynamic presence who can sell ideas through storytelling that captures both head and heart.

The Details

  • You have some experience in a leadership role or are ready to make the leap into the next level of your amazing career. Either way, you're a team player who can translate a brief into something unexpected and see that vision through.
  • You're a positivity magnet, someone who rallies teams and excites clients with equal parts artistic conviction and collaborative generosity.
  • You're as comfortable leading a client conversation as you are in a writing sprint, and you know the best copy isn't about being clever — it's about being true.
  • You'll report to our Executive Creative Director and partner closely with our Creative Director, Art Direction. Together, you're the creative engine of the department — leading the work, building the business, and contributing to our dynamic culture.

What You'll Do Lead the work. Own copy and concept direction on major campaigns from brief through production. Establish the language, craft the storytelling, and push the work past the obvious — across film, digital, social, OOH, and whatever format the idea calls for. The funnel is your playground, and the best creativity-rich experiences go well beneath the surface.

Create across media. Performance-driven creativity is our rocket fuel for solving problems. You have perspective on how to earn attention and spark engagement at the outset of every project.

Partner and elevate. Here, we are each other's people. You'll collaborate with strategy, digital, visual designers, verbalists, client services, studio artists, and production to ensure creative integrity across every handoff and every touchpoint is a seamless exchange.

Move with purpose. You're nimble by nature, and equally comfortable in a fast-turn social brief and multi-layered brand launch. You show up where needed and respect timelines without letting them flatten the work.

Use AI as a creative accelerator. Neither a crutch nor a novelty, we expect you'll use AI tools as part of how you explore, draft, and pressure-test ideas. We want someone who's already figured out how to make them serve the work, and who isn't afraid to push into new territory.

Contribute to new business. Help concept and pitch ideas that win.

Your Experience

  • 7+ years of creative experience in advertising, with a portfolio that demonstrates genuine conceptual range and strong, distinctive writing across formats.
  • Great creative taste, and a demonstrated passion and point of view for every facet of the work.
  • Proven fluency in today's media landscape: how content behaves across platforms, how performance creative works, how channel shapes message.
  • Familiarity with AI writing and ideation tools — Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent — and genuine curiosity about where the technology is headed and how it can serve the work.
  • Comfortable working in collaborative platforms like Figma and Google Slides.
  • Experience working in health, financial services and destination brands a plus.
  • The ability to present ideas to CMOs and senior clients with clarity and conviction — not just reading the work, but selling the thinking behind it.
  • We are also hiring for CD, Art, so we are open to interviewing teams.

Salary range: $140,000 – $170,000
