Here’s how you’ll have an impact:
The Director of Gift Administration and Support Services serves as a strategic leader responsible for ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and donor satisfaction across all gift administration and support functions. The role champions operational best practices and high-quality service standards, cultivating an outstanding donor experience through oversight of the internal team and external vendor relationships. The Director collaborates with internal stakeholders to resolve gift commitment issues and ensure accurate, proper documentation is executed and recorded.
Gift Commitment Oversight (30%)
- Review donor Gift Commitment (GC) documentation for accuracy and completeness; engage USOPC colleagues as needed to address issues or gaps in information; provide approved GC to Manager for gift entry and reporting
- Review and approve GC gift entry by Manager
- Liaise with Legal on regular review and update of Gift Commitment templates, tax receipts or other documentation
Vendor Management (30%)
- Manage key vendor relationships including Keying & Caging, Exception Services and Inbound Telemarketing Donor Services.
- Lead contracting, accountability to service levels and manage relationship with Keying & Caging Vendor, gift entry Exception Services and ensure oversight of quality control & approvals
- Lead contracting, enforce service level agreements and manage Inbound Telemarketing Donor Services vendor partnership
Internal Team Management and Collaboration (25%)
- Lead Gift Administration team and manage direct report, Manager, Gift Administration and Support Services.
- Lead weekly Revenue Reporting Meeting
- Represent Gift Admin in Major Gift Pipeline Meeting
- Leads regular planning and collaboration meetings with internal clients: Annual Fund, Mid-Level, Planned Giving, Major Gifts
- Collaborate with Donor Experience on payment optimization including reporting, strategy and overall vision.
Budget Management (15%)
- Responsible for Gift Administration & Support Services Budget
Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in gift processing, donor services, or nonprofit financial operations
- At least 3+ years of experience managing and mentoring staff in a nonprofit or donor services environment
- Proven track record of managing vendor relationships and service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including fundraising, legal, and finance
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to set and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial and donor data handling
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external collaboration
- Proficiency in donor database systems and CRM platforms
- Ability to develop and implement process improvements and standard operating procedures
- Strategic thinker with strong leadership and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Colorado Springs Downtown Headquarters / Hybrid
Here's some more information you need to know:
- Hiring pay range $102,000 – $125,000 per year
- This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.
- Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 20% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
