This Education Coordinator provides administration, management and technical expertise for the learning management system (LMS). This will include providing LMS system administration, support for the production of continuing medical education (CME) content, and assistance with the administration of CME requirements for IASLC programming.

The International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) is the premier international membership association for physicians, researchers, and medical professionals, who are dedicated to conquering lung and thoracic cancers worldwide.  We are seeking an Education Coordinator to provide administration, management, and technical expertise to support the management and maintenance of the IASLC learning management system (LMS) that delivers content related to continuing medical education (CME).  

Day to day, the Education Coordinator provides LMS system administration, supports the production of medical education content, and assists in the administration of CME requirements for IASLC programming.

This nonsupervisory, exempt position is physically based in our downtown Denver, CO office on a hybrid work schedule. This position reports to the Director, Education.

In this role, you will:

•    Provide content and asset management and ongoing maintenance of the learning management system (LMS) focused on medical education.
•    Primary contact with vendor to troubleshoot end user, internal, system performance and/or functionality issues.
•    Optimize the LMS system to ensure an efficient, engaging user experience that aligns with the global medical education strategy and meets compliance requirements for continuing medical education (CME).
•    Develop and provide system user training and management; serve as first line of support for internal Maintain system documentation, including LMS user guides, processes, configurations, and security.
•    Collaborate with internal experts to build and maintain LMS integrations with other platforms.
•    Develop, implement, and track activity evaluations and outcome surveys to capture learner data and feedback.
•    Maintain records within ACCME PARS system and assist with preparation of annual CME accreditation reports.
•    Collect, track, report, and document conflict of interest resolution.
•    Utilize designated software to track and report relevant data on CME activities and credits.
•    Deliver timely, responsive, positive customer service to internal and external constituents.

A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s degree 
•    2 years of experience in administering and/or configuring Learning Management Systems in an association, business, or healthcare context.
•    Experience with adult e-learning, remote learning, and/or instructional technology in an association, business, or healthcare context.
•    Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment with internal and external constituencies.
•    Proficiency in standard computer programs with demonstrated aptitude for quickly and efficiently learning and embracing new software. 
•    Demonstrated proficiency in prioritizing, organization, time management, and project management with strong attention to detail.
•    Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as needed.
•    Multilingual fluency/literacy would be a plus.

•    Compensation:  $55,000-65,000 annually, depending on related experience and education.
