This Influencer Relations Manager will be responsible for working with influencers to proactively promote Vail Resorts and its various lines of business, including Epic Pass. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Influencer Relations and play an integral role in the ideation, development and implementation of the company’s influencer strategy to drive consideration, engagement, sales and loyalty.

Job Summary:

This Influencer Relations Manager will be responsible for working with influencers to proactively promote Vail Resorts and its various lines of business, including Epic Pass. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Influencer Relations and play an integral role in the ideation, development and implementation of the company’s influencer strategy to drive consideration, engagement, sales and loyalty.

 Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 + annual bonus
  • Employment Type: Year Round

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of strategic influencer program, establishing and maintaining long-term partnerships through organic and sponsored content and networking, to advance business objectives and initiatives
  • Develop influencer content briefs, working closely with various lines of business, to align with priorities and key messages
  • Lead influencer hosted experiences on mountain including execution; work closely with Mountain Communications teams to facilitate information sharing and itinerary building
  • Work with Enterprise Social Media and Paid Media teams to support implementation of influencer paid amplification (boosting) strategy and execution and tracking across Meta and TikTok
  • Collaborate with various lines of business and Paid Media team for cross-platform content utilization, ensuring all usage falls within contracted rights for each influencer
  • Support end-to-end development, implementation and ongoing management of influencer affiliate partners. Support with the program strategy and frameworks, managing partnerships and ensuring the successful achievement of program objectives.
  • Use tools such as Creator IQ for social tracking, database management and reporting on KPIs for various, internal stakeholders
  • Track and analyze influencer program performance on an ongoing basis to measure success and provide optimizations and key learnings for future programs
  • Manage reactive influencer requests in partnership with Mountain Communications teams
  • Keep up with the influencer landscape, social platforms, content creation patterns and specific trends within the travel and ski/snowboard industry
  • Perform competitive analysis, industry research, and continually assess best practices and KPIs in a consistently changing landscape
  • Advise the communications team and internal business partners on best practices; new digital/social/influencer trends, tools and platforms for future influencer efforts

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
  • 4-5+ years of experience in related field required; direct influencer experience preferred
  • Strong relationships across influencer networks to leverage on behalf of the company
  • Strong knowledge of influencer and social media best practices, tools and analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize details and complete projects in a timely manner
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Ability to unite conceptual creative thinking with high-quality content delivery
  • Willingness to travel to up to 25% of time during peak season (Dec. – Feb.) a must
  • Knowledge of the ski/snowboard industry a plus

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
