Description

Location: Downtown Denver – Union Station area
Hours: 4–6 hours/day, 2–4 days/week (flexible within 9 AM – 7 PM)
Pay: depending on experience

About the Role

I’m an entrepreneur running a small short-term rental business and need a part-time administrative assistant to help with a variety of computer-based tasks and general office support.

You’ll be working directly with me to keep things organized and efficient. The role will evolve over time, so I’m looking for someone flexible who’s comfortable taking on different types of work as needed.

The office is casual — no strict dress code — but there’s no dedicated desk or parking provided, so you’ll need to bring your own laptop and work setup each day.

What You’ll Be Doing

The work will vary day to day but may include:

  • Training Materials & Documentation
  • Taking notes while I explain processes and turning them into clear, well-organized training documents in Google Sheets/Docs.
  • Creating screen recordings to show computer workflows (you’ll record your screen and talk through steps — no need to be on camera).
  • Building easy-to-follow guides with screenshots, charts, and workflows.
  • Data Entry & Admin Work
  • Entering numbers into spreadsheets and financial statements.
  • Collecting data on employee productivity and compliance with expectations.
  • Organizing files, drafting procedures, and managing information.
  • Other Tasks (varies depending on skills and business needs)
  • Creating and updating Airbnb listings.
  • Researching and benchmarking performance against similar businesses.
  • Supporting miscellaneous projects or tasks that come up as the company grows.

This position requires adaptability, as you may be asked to jump between different types of work depending on what’s most important that day.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

Not required, but they could lead to higher pay and more responsibility:

  • Experience with Airbnb, hospitality, or property management.
  • Comfortable using ChatGPT or other AI tools to speed up tasks.
  • Skilled in making training videos and documentation.
  • Strong organizational and writing skills.
  • Understanding of basic business operations or bookkeeping.

Schedule

  • Work anytime between 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, whichever blocks fit your schedule.
  • Typically 4–6 hours per day, 2–4 days per week to start.
  • Weekend availability is a bonus, but not required.
  • Very flexible as long as there’s consistency and clear communication.

This is perfect for someone who wants steady part-time work with flexible hours while gaining experience in different aspects of a growing business.

About You

  • Reliable and consistent — you follow through on commitments.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable with a variety of tasks and willing to learn new things quickly.
  • Able to bring your own reliable laptop each day.
  • Proactive and resourceful — you don’t need constant supervision.

How to Apply

Please reply with:

  • A brief introduction about yourself and why this job interests you.
  • Your typical availability during the week.
  • Relevant experience, especially with any of the “bonus skills” above.
  • The type of laptop/work setup you’d bring with you.

Job Type: Part-time

Benefits:

  • Flexible schedule

Work Location: In person
