As a PR Associate for Digital Engagement, you will implement digital communications initiatives from planning through implementation, focusing on building/managing budgets, optimizing content/ads and tracking/reporting on outcomes. Our Strategy and PR teams will rely on you to recommend and implement strategies that help our nonprofit, government and socially responsible business clients connect with and engage their priority audiences. You will also audit our clients’ existing social and digital plans and recommend adjustments. Additionally, this position will coordinate with the firm’s PR and Design teams to implement specific tactics (advertising/paid digital) and consult on pivots and trends that are in each client’s best interest. The keys to your success in this role are strategic thinking, attention to detail, creativity and collaboration.
Primary Responsibilities

Contribute to building and implementing digital marketing campaigns, partnering with the Director of PR to ensure quality control and deliverables are met for each client

Partner with PR and Design team members to create and post compelling social media content

Partner with Web team to implement and refine Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization strategies

Ensure quality control of campaigns, monitoring performance daily, pulling reports as needed and developing action plans based on findings

Participate in client meetings and relationship building

Keep up with social media trends, digital engagement, email marketing, social ad campaigns, digital display advertising, search engine marketing, targeting, optimization and measurement

Research and recommend paid advertising/digital budgets, set goals, identify measurement metrics and implement owned and paid digital campaigns

Supports other team needs as requested (i.e. press releases, awards, content creation, event support, website content and other tactics essential to the firm’s work)

NOTE: This is an in-person position located at Barefoot PR’s office near Downtown Denver. Position can be full- or part-time.
Job Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in digital engagement or marketing

Excellent writing skills, specifically AP Style and writing for social media

Strong understanding of various digital communications platforms and tactics, including GoogleAdwords, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Meta platforms, LinkedIn, YouTube, digital engagement, advertising, media relations, content creation, etc.
