Job Summary
The Intern, Marketing and Communications works under close supervision and assists with various projects and initiatives related to marketing and communicating about Denver Health. The Intern accepts department specific responsibilities that support team members performing marketing, media relations, social media and internal communications for the health system. The Intern assists in writing, posting, event attendance, media support and more.
Essential Functions:
- Writes copy for website and newsletters (20%)
- Supports media relations with media monitoring and reporter engagement (20%)
- Supports managers with projects (20%)
- Attends events that support community engagement (20%)
- Engages with social media execution (20%)
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Currently a college student required.
Work Experience:
- Interest in health care communications, media relations and or marketing required.
