The Social Media & Reputation Manager is responsible for strengthening Vertafore's visibility, credibility, and reputation through organic social media and customer review programs. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution—developing social content, managing Vertafore's presence across social and review platforms, and leveraging authentic customer feedback to build trust with insurance professionals.
As the steward of Vertafore's social media presence, this role brings our brand narrative to life through compelling content, industry engagement, and consistent messaging across social channels. Working closely with stakeholders in Marketing and senior leaders, the Social Media & Reputation Manager combines content creativity with a metrics-driven approach to increase the visibility of Vertafore's vision, thought leadership, and key business initiatives.
This role also owns Vertafore's customer review and peer validation strategy, leveraging platforms such as G2 to strengthen market credibility, buyer confidence, and discoverability across traditional and AI-powered search. The Social Media & Reputation Manager leads review generation campaigns, manages and optimizes Vertafore's presence on review platforms, analyzes customer sentiment and performance trends from reviews, and partners across the business to amplify customer proof points for brand, content, and demand generation initiatives.
Success in this role requires a unique combination of strategic thinking, content creation, relationship building, and data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing strategy and creating content, can leverage AI to improve content development and workflow efficiency, and can identify and act on opportunities to strengthen Vertafore's reputation through trusted third-party validation.
Core Requirements and Responsibilities:
Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:
Social Media
- Develop and execute Vertafore's organic social media strategy and channel plans to increase brand visibility and audience engagement.
- Create compelling, on-brand social content, including copy and visual concepts, in line with best practices, to drive engagement and reach.
- Translate industry trends, customer challenges, and business priorities into engaging social media content and campaigns
- Manage Vertafore's day-to-day social media presence and engagement across platforms.
- Develop and manage paid social campaigns that support brand awareness initiatives, events, and strategic communications initiatives as needed.
- Proactively monitor social trends, audience behaviors, and algorithm changes to improve performance.
Customer Reviews & Reputation
- Own Vertafore's customer review and peer validation strategy, including G2 and other review platforms.
- Develop and execute review generation campaigns to increase review volume and quality.
- Manage and optimize Vertafore's presence across review platforms to strengthen market credibility, buyer confidence, and discoverability.
· Analyze customer sentiment and competitive positioning to identify opportunities and risks.
· Partner with Brand, Content, Demand Generation, and Product Marketing to amplify customer proof points and apply review insights across marketing programs and initiatives.
Insights & Optimization
- Track and analyze social media and review platform performance, translating data into actionable recommendations and business insights.
- Partner with Marketing, business, and leadership stakeholders to align programs with organizational priorities.
- Serve as an internal resource on social media, digital reputation, and emerging trends that influence buyer perception and discovery.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Strong social content creation skills across copy, visual concepts, and multimedia formats.
· Proficiency with social media management, publishing, listening, and analytics platforms, such as Hootsuite.
· Proficiency with Canva or similar tool required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
· Strong understanding of visual design, photography, and social media creative best practices.
· Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail.
· Experience with software review and peer validation platforms such as G2, Gartner Peer Insights, TrustRadius, or Capterra.
· Strong strategic thinking, project management, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across teams and organizational levels.
· Proficient with generative AI tools to create, refine, and edit content, leveraging AI to improve quality and accelerate work.
· Knowledge of search, social, and AI-driven content discovery trends.
· Experience with project management platforms like Wrike or Asana, and marketing automation platforms like Marketo or HubSpot.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive social media and reputation management experience in a corporate setting.
- Experience in a B2B or technology company required.
- Bachelor's degree required. Major in Communications, Marketing or related field strongly preferred.
Additional Requirements and Details:
· Travel required up to 10% of the time.
· Ability to work at our Denver headquarters a minimum of two days a week.
· A remote setting within the United States is allowed for the remainder of the week with a stable internet connection.
· Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
· Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).
· Frequent sitting and/or standing.

The Professional Services (PS) and Customer Success (CX) bonus plans are a quarterly monetary bonus plan based upon individual and practice performance against specific business metrics.
