The Senior Manager Coaching and Worker Needs & Impact Initiatives will lead the continued development, implementation, and scaling of Skillful’s Coaching Initiative including the Skillful Coaching Corps and Skillful Coaching Community of Practice. They will provide overall leadership to shape the evolution of these programs to increase their impact in raising coaches’ effectiveness in connecting workers to quality jobs and to enable them to be scaled cost-effectively. The Senior Manager will be accountable for developing strategic external partnerships with all stakeholders of the coaching workstream and ensuring that it is integrated with the overall Skillful program to drive the shift to a skills-based labor market. They will also be accountable for managing and advising on the adaptation and early implementation of their Initiatives as Skillful expands to new partners, states, regions, etc. The Senior Manager will also lead Skillful’s efforts on Worker Needs & Impact to understand how skills-based practices benefit diverse middle-skilled populations. This The Senior Manager will serve as the key expert and advisor on Coaching and Worker Needs to other Skillful Initiatives as they identify program and policy solutions to recommend to local, state, and national leaders. This position will engage with current and potential funders on behalf of the Initiatives, including foundations, corporations and individuals.
