Looking for an energetic self-starter who works well with a small team, collaborates across close-knit company with little supervision. Candidate should be comfortable and effective with cross functional activities The communications manager will have a solid understanding of public relations and communications, with seasoned skills to elevate the company’s visibility, strong reputation and leadership with animal care and all regenerative efforts. Brand awareness will be a key driver. The individual should be well versed with crafting and pitching demos, local news, national initiatives, thought leadership pieces and farmer/rancher, chef and partner stories. Candidate is able to create and maintain connections with key trade reporters, publications, magazine editors and general press – supporting a proactive and reactive media strategy. This person will work closely with senior team, sales and marketing, external customers, thought leaders and partners and be an organized resource for all external communications.
