Program and Event Coordinator

The programs and events coordinator will manage logistics for leadership programs and events. Primary responsibilities include executing programs and events from preparation through post-event, including registration/application management, invoicing & payments, coordinating with vendors/venues, day of execution and follow up. Database and website maintenance also required.

Development Coordinator (PT)

The Development Coordinator is a year-round, part-time (20 hours per week), non-exempt position. The Development Coordinator reports to the Marketing and Development Manager and is responsible for providing support in the administration of all membership and development efforts on behalf of the Colorado Chautauqua Association (CCA). Some evening and weekend work will be required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting purposes this position is non-essential.

Aspen Summer Intern, Aspen Ideas Festival Editorial Department

The Aspen Institute Summer Internship Program employs rising college seniors or recent college graduates during the summer months in Aspen, Colorado. Internship opportunities will not exceed 90-days and are available in the following departments: Development, Seminars, Administration, ITS, Conference Services, and Public Programs. All internships are paid positions.

The Aspen Institute is an educational and policy studies organization based in Washington, DC. Its mission is to foster leadership based on enduring values and to provide a nonpartisan venue for dealing with critical issues. The Institute has campuses in Aspen, Colorado, and on the Wye River on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. It also maintains offices in New York City and has an international network of partners.

Senior Program Manager TEACHColorado

The TEACH Colorado Partnership includes the following partners: Public Education & Business Coalition (PEBC), Colorado Education Initiative (CEI), Colorado Department of Education (CDE), Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE) & TEACH.

This is a grant-funded position. No promise of employment is extended beyond the life of the grant. There is a possibility of continued part-time of full-time work.

The purpose of TEACH Colorado is to raise the profile of teaching in Colorado and attract more talent into the profession. This will be accomplished through a statewide PSA ad campaign, a direct outreach campaign on college and high school campuses, digital media, online experiences, a Talk-to-a-Teacher program, and events and programming that expose prospects to teaching. These resources will inspire prospective teachers to join the profession, dispel misperceptions, and support the steps they need to take to enter the profession (i.e., get training, finance the training program, earn a professional credential, find a job).

TEACH will oversee the PSA campaign and the digital/online components, while PEBC and CEI will convene and manage the stakeholder group, to include the school districts, teacher preparation programs, state education agencies, and education associations in the state. The Senior Program Manager will lead the initiative, providing valuable insights and connections to the stakeholder group.

In the first 3-6 months, the Senior Program Manager will be responsible for introducing the initiative to stakeholders and gaining their buy-in and participation.

Should additional funding become available, this position will report out for accountability statewide in 2-3 years. Therefore strong candidates will have credibility and relationship with stakeholders and understand Colorado’s unique education and policy context.

Desired Timeframe for .5 FTE:
February 1, 2019-April 30, 2019 to network with all EPPs and IHEs and secure their intent to join.
As of May 1, 2019 there is potential to roll .5 FTE into a more full-time position.

Director of Conservation

The Conservation Director develops and implments WW’s forest, restoration, aquatic, responsible recreation, and wilderness programs.

Community Relations and Special Events Coordinator

Coordinates all aspects of special events, including working with volunteers and other Lutheran Family Services staff members. Manages relationships with local churches, community and corporate resources to ensure awareness of Lutheran Family Services activities and programs, and to encourage giving.

El Pomar Summer Internship

The El Pomar Internship is a unique summer program that introduces continuing undergraduate students to the nonprofit sector and an opportunity to develop professional interests and skills.

Executive Assistant

Representation of KIND’s mission and values, and it’s Executive Director and leadership, in various professional settings and channels, including business operations, administration, and human resources responsibilities. Key strengths include professionalism, positive and collaborative attitude, integrity, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, an ability to anticipate needs, excellent communication skills, and resourcefulness. The full-time Executive Assistant role is new for KIND and is positioned for growth into a operations manager-like role in the future with the right candidate, via training and development , as the organization continues its pattern of growth.

Communications and Special Events Manager

This is a full-time (100% FTE) position, with primary duties in the following areas: Communications, Fundraising/Annual Giving, Event Management, Intern and Volunteer Recruitment and Management, Program Implementation. This position also performs other development duties as requested.

Demonstrated organizational planning skills and ability to work independently. Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision and have excellent interpersonal, organizational, supervisory and networking skills.
