Development & Communications Coordinator

The successful candidate will support donor and foundation stewardship, database management, fundraising events and campaigns, and will help create and implement marketing strategies and tactics that raise awareness for our brand. The right candidate will be passionate about early literacy, relational health, and health equity and will be excited to join a dedicated and passionate team of experts who have built a culture of collaboration and support.

Policy Director

The Policy Director will lead the organization’s state and federal policy strategy, working with leadership, advisors, members, and partners to identify priorities and execute strategies to achieve policy goals. This role includes representing the organization to policymakers, facilitating committees, conducting research and policy analysis, drafting briefs, letters, and implementing advocacy campaigns.

Chief Development Officer

The Chief Development Officer leads the strategy and execution of all fundraising efforts in support of Special Olympics Colorado’s mission, driving growth across major gifts, special events, individual and planned giving, corporate partnerships, and Law Enforcement engagement statewide. This role is responsible for strengthening fundraising infrastructure and expanding annual revenue.

Western Regional Coordinator

The Western Regional Coordinator helps grow and support Special Olympics programs across Western Colorado. This role works with schools (preschool through college) to build Unified Sports® and inclusive school programs, while also supporting community outreach, volunteer engagement, and regional fundraising efforts.

Operations & Logistics Coordinator

Be part of a growing social enterprise helping people and the planet. This active role combines operations, logistics, and hands-on work coordinating pickups and deliveries, organizing inventory, lifting and moving furniture, and driving a box truck. We help move quality furniture from homes where it is no longer needed into homes where it is, while keeping usable items out of the landfill.

Director of Colorado Community Outreach and Government Relations

Working under the General Counsel, and in close collaboration with the Managing Director, Festival and Institute Operations, the Director will lead Sundance Institute’s efforts to engage the Boulder and wider Colorado community. The Director will work across departments to develop and execute strategies to make the Festival and the Institute an active and positive community member and successfully advance opportunities for storytellers in Colorado.

Development Director

The Development Director will generate revenue for our annual Heart Walk & CycleNation fundraising campaigns. These campaigns include our signature Heart Walk & CycleNation events. This is an office-based position that offers a hybrid schedule. The office is in Denver, Colorado.

Executive Director, Foundations

We are seeking an energetic, highly organized, dynamic professional to join our team. Our institution provides the highest quality education and service excellence in an environment of care, support, mutual respect, and integrity. The Executive Director is responsible for the leadership and operation of the Foundation enterprise. He/she participates personally and sets the example for dynamic, aggressive fundraising; manages Foundation assets; and effectively partners with the college.

Program Director, Health
