Director of Innovation & Technology

The Director of Innovation & Technology provides the vision and leadership for designing, developing and implementing Denver Botanic Gardens’ IT initiatives that create value, efficiency, security and programmatic opportunities. Responsibilities include influencing and directing DBG’s IT infrastructure and applications evolution to ensure that key business strategies and processes are driven by systems that enable change, growth and flexibility. The Director must ensure DBG’s IT infrastructure is reliable, secure, cost efficient, and strategically sound, reflecting organization needs and best practice in creating value for visitors.

Assistant Director Enrichment

Daily operations and management of Gold Crown Enrichment Programs. Oversee Enrichment Coordinators, report directly to Enrichment Executive Director. This is a leadership position that requires excellent communication skills.

Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer sets policy and provides financial direction for the Aspen Art Museum ensuring financial compliance, sustainability and oversight. Primary duties include developing and maintaining internal accounting and controls, financial recording and reporting functions, producing annual, monthly and ad hoc reports, developing the annual budget and performing extensive financial analysis. The CFO reports directly to the CEO, serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and oversees staff in finance, administration, Human Resources, information technology, shop and café operations.

Executive Director

Housed in a new downtown location, the Museum of Boulder seeks an experienced applicant who embraces diversity,inclusion, engagement and the critical representation of our multiple communities, their histories and current issues. This position is a wonderful oppprtunity, for someone with vision, energy and experience, to build what is essentially a new institution in an engaging community.

Associate Director

Reporting to the Executive Director and overseeing the Program Directors, the Associate Director will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for all program areas. The position will work closely with the Executive Director to drive the overall strategy for the organization. The Associate Director will initially develop deep knowledge of each project, program operations, and strategic plan, and will focus on the following areas: program leadership and management; and team development and management. The Associate Director will be a strong participant in budget management and advancing a fundraising strategy for the organization.

Membership and Annual Gifts Coordinator

This is a full-time benefitted position that supports the Development Department by fulfilling all fundraising programs, including membership renewals and batching for general operations, fundraising programs, restricted funds and grants. It requires a proficiency in donor database systems (Blackbaud’s Altru) to assist the Manager of Membership and Annual Gifts in pulling accurate reports, noting donor recognition and creating mailing lists for the Development Department. As a voice of the Zoo, this position must carry out excellent customer service and maintain professional working relationships internally. This position also requires a team player! It is non-supervisory in nature.

Director of Finance

The State Higher Education Executive Officers Association (SHEEO) seeks a talented professional to develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s finance and accounting practices. You will apply your expertise and leadership to simplifying internal processes, modernizing finance systems and technology, and developing both short- and long-term budgets that will enable our organization to most effectively serve our membership. Grants management will be a large component of this position so proven experience in this area is essential.

Development Director

The Development Director develops strategic and operational fundraising plans and implements them working with a team of five staff members. Responsibilities include generating funds necessary for the organization’s operating expenses and programs; managing fundraising and development activities and related initiatives and representing the organization in various capacities including those that actively build enduring relationships with each important segment of the Boulder community. The Development Director is an integral contributor to the strategic direction of the organization and a member of the senior management team.

Director of Education and Operations

The Director of Education and Operations develops and manages the strategic programming direction at Keystone Science School in partnership with program teams and ensures KSS’s mission is upheld. This position is responsible for supervising program managers and overseeing the expense budgets they create. The Director must understand the continuously evolving science and outdoor education trends and classroom curriculum requirements. The Education department at KSS implements excellent programs with an eye on integrating our mission into all aspects. The Director of Education and Operations ensures program quality through curriculum development that meets or exceeds expectations and continually improves to ensure KSS can grow its impact and expand its reach.
