Director of Community Development

This position is a member of the City’s Executive Team and is responsible for leading a department of professional staff that is responsible for services related to land use planning, engineering development review, building inspections, and code compliance.

This role advances the mission of the National Western Stock Show by delivering impactful agriculture education, Western heritage experiences, youth programming, and community engagement initiatives.

Neighborhood Engagement Specialist

The position facilitates ongoing communication and relationship-building between residents, community members and city staff, and helps identify opportunities for neighborhood-level engagement, events and initiatives. The role assists with organizing engagement activities, responding to neighborhood inquiries and supporting collaborative efforts to address community concerns.

Wildlife Campaigner

Our Conservation and Wildlife Campaign Associate will work to help advance solutions in Colorado that protect special places and critical wildlife including reducing pesticide use that undermines bees and pollinators. This position requires exercising discretion and independent judgment in making decisions in matters of significance.

Community Engagement Program Manager

As part of the Organizational Excellence team within the City Manager’s Office, you will help shape how the city gathers feedback, shares information, and builds trusted relationships with community members, businesses, neighborhood groups, nonprofits, and community partners. The work includes developing engagement strategies, improving organization-wide practices, analyzing participation data, and helping staff communicate complex information in accessible ways.
