Outward Bound is the leading wilderness-based nonprofit experiential education organization in the United States. The Outward Bound Services Group (OBSG) is a member managed national marketing organization responsible for providing branded marketing and admissions services that drive enrollment on Outward Bound expedition courses.

OBSG’s Content Coordinator position is responsible for content creation, with a focus on written content, image and video curation, in a variety of channels including social media and the web site. The Content Coordinator supports all targeted marketing campaigns, promotions and brand communications and performs other marketing duties, as needed. The Content Coordinator reports to the National Marketing Director and works with other OBSG team members on a project-by-project basis. Website and Social Media Specialist

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Communications and Alumni Affairs, the Website and Social Media Specialist works collaboratively and strategically to manage the School of Pharmacy’s website, social media channels and related technologies in accordance with the department’s strategic plan and student recruiting efforts. This position will also be responsible for establishing benchmarks and reporting on audience insights/analytics for both the website and social media channels.

Visual Communications Specialist

POSITION DUTIES
Provides technical and marketing assistance to all program areas within the division. Leads the graphic design needs of the division including the design, layout, printing and dissemination of official division items such as: annual report, director briefing books, fact sheets, brochures, strategic plans, conference materials, and other divisional reports as needed to share the DHSEM brand and identity. Designs templates and standardized forms and materials used within and across programs in the division. Develops and ensures use of standard organization identity products. Provides technical and graphic design assistance to all program areas for creating documents and materials to be used in communicating with external partners and stakeholders. Assist with the writing and dissemination of the DHSEM Update, Grapevine Newsletter and other divisional newsletter or regular communication as requested. Provides assistance to conferences supported by the division including the Colorado Emergency Management Conference and the CEPC Conference

Develops products and publishes information to inform the DHSEM internal audience including division employees, department staff and other state agencies. The projects and information will cover the full span of divisional offices from emergency management to preparedness and the CIAC to the Director’s Office. The Internal Communications Specialist uses intranet or websites, email, digital communications, photography, videos and other technology to channel information. The position will establish and maintain distribution and notification lists. Helps provide multiple channels for stakeholders to add content and improve internal communication. Plays a key role in the design, development, and distribution of relevant internal information and materials. Supports the internal steady-state and crisis-state communications under the direction of the program manager. Is the primary division records representative as the CDPS Records Liaison Officer. Coordinates the quarterly DHSEM Town Hall meeting agenda, video recording and presentation information as well as the annual DHSEM staff meeting information and communication needs. Assists in development of the division communications plan, strategic plan and homeland security plan related to communication efforts.

Provides branding and internal communication guidance to division. Provides other division support and assistance as requested to meet agency needs. These assignments will include, but are not limited to: acting as division records management liaison, providing administrative support to meetings, events or stakeholder groups. This includes support to division committees and policy needs related to these committees. Assists with coordination of DHSEM strategic communication meetings, trainings commitment and other requests for internal and external support.

As directed, provides pre-disaster support to the State Emergency Operations Center training and exercise program up to 10% of time. During a state declared disaster, provide operational support to the State Emergency Operations Center as directed.

When directed, assumes assigned role as member of the State Recovery Task Force until relieved by Task Force Leader or Director, DHSEM.
