Leverage Colorado is a start-up 501(c)(3) dedicated to advancing smart, equitable policies that make aging more affordable in Colorado. We are seeking a Director of Policy & Advocacy to support and lead policy development, legislative strategy, coalition engagement, and advocacy efforts across the organization’s 501(c)(3) and affiliated 501(c)(4) entities. This position will work closely with the President and CEO to shape the organization’s policy agenda and implementation strategies.
As the Director or Senior Director of Public Affairs at Colorado Concern, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s political program, advancing strategic objectives, and enhancing its public image. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to promote our policy agenda, manage communications, and curate membership programming.
As a member of the company’s Legal team, the Vice President, Public Policy and Community Relations will manage and develop a team and work closely with the VP of Marketing and Sales Development, SVP of Corporate Development, and SVP of General Management to define and build public policy strategies at CoreSite to support our growth.
Policy Specialists who serve as liaisons to NCSL’s professional staff associations provide strategic, programmatic and administrative support to the groups. They are expected to provide a high level of customer service to meet the needs of the association and expertly manage all stakeholders. This role also includes managing budgets and financial accounts, including developing, monitoring and balancing meeting or program budgets.
The Senior Coordinator develops and implements workshops, seminars, conferences, trainings and meetings related to policy and advocacy functions. The Senior Coordinator mentors and helps to develop the skills and knowledge of other Policy and Advocacy Coordinators.
This role will support the Firm’s Colorado state legislative and regulatory advocacy, while also assisting with federal lobbying efforts, client development initiatives, and background research for policy matters.
Sitting within the central GCR team and reporting to the Senior Director, Government and Community Relations, the Analyst is uniquely positioned at the intersection of legislative monitoring, stakeholder intelligence, issue escalation, and community engagement coordination.
