Major Gifts Officer

The Major Gifts Officer (MGO) is a full time, FLSA exempt, senior level Administrator charged with identifying, cultivating and soliciting major gifts for Adams State University (ASU). The MGO will provide support for ASU’s fundraising efforts and will work closely with the ASU President and the ASU Foundation Board to plan, manage, and assist in carrying out the institution’s strategic plan. The MGO will engage in direct efforts to attract foundation donors, individual major gifts, and corporate gifts while providing exemplary stewardship and solicitation of current major donors, and developing relationships that will lead to major gifts.

Communication, Outreach and Marketing Coordinator

The Communication, Outreach and Marketing Coordinator, serves as the primary staff person in the Public Works and Utilities Department responsible for the strategic marketing and communication around water and wastewater-related programs and projects. Examples may include the City’s rate/fee increase messaging, water conservation programs/activities, capital improvement and operational projects, and ongoing water/wastewater utility programs.

HR Generalist

This dynamic customer service-oriented position supports and contributes to creating and
sustaining high performing work teams committed to achieving Village outcomes. This human
resources generalist position performs advanced-level work in human resource administration
with a strong emphasis on recruitment. Recruitment activities include writing job descriptions,
job announcements, and interview questions; participating on interview panels; conducting
background screenings; and conducting new employee orientation sessions. This position also
performs classification and compensation, benefits administration, employee relations, and other
human resources functions. The employee works closely with Village management to ensure
human resources activities are in alignment with organization goals. The employee also provides
assistance to employees related to salary, benefits, and employee relations; to external
customers related to employment; and to outside vendors related to activities performed by the
Human Resources program. Communication with supervisors, managers, and employees is a
constant part of each day.

Senior Manager, Contracted Services

RTD is currently seeking a motivated individual with a Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Business, Public Administration or a related field. Required is a minimum of five years of extensive administrative and managerial experience, of which a significant portion is in Transportation. Also required is proficiency in dispatch and scheduling systems for fixed route services and proficiency in the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Executive Administrator

The Human Resources Department is seeking an Executive Administrator that will provide high quality and efficient internal and external customer service and coordinate project and administrative support. This position will be the first point of contact for HR customer inquiries so the ideal candidate will possess enthusiasm and motivation for customer service. They will also be adept at problem solving, learning on the fly and have an ability to balance multiple tasks. This position will initially be located at the HR Front Desk and will work to find creative solutions that best serve the needs of our in-person, phone, and digital customer inquiries.

Communications Specialist (Temporary)

The Prevention Services Division oversees programs that touch on issues including cancer, tobacco, marijuana, WIC, family planning, cancer, school-based health centers, suicide prevention, motor vehicle safety, among others. The position requires a wide range of skills, including writing and editing, website management, and communications plan implementation. Duties may include message development, social media content writing, e-newsletter writing, fact sheet writing and design, etc. (Graphic design skills are not required, but a plus.) This position will work with staff with experience in strategic communications planning, messaging, marketing and advertising, design, media relations.
