Summary: 
The Marketing & Communications Director is responsible for helping drive awareness of the RES brand and strengthening its position in the industry through a multi-channel approach to marketing and communications for RES Americas.

Requirements:   

  • Supports the design and delivery of multi-channel thought leadership and other content-led campaigns to help drive market share, revenue growth and talent acquisition.
  • Customizes and promotes global thought leadership for the Americas.
  • Partners with subject matter experts to develop Americas thought leadership content such as blogs, white papers, bylines, etc.
  • Manages Americas content on website, curating and developing content in alignment with established channel goals.
  • Directs development and deployment of Americas content across social media channels.
  • Writes and curates stories and visual assets to share across both internal and external channels.
  • Helps manage strategic partnerships with trade organizations to help build the RES brand across the industry, participating on communications-related committees.
  • Manages participation and engagement in major conferences and other client-related events through a mix of sponsorships, exhibits, client meetings and entertainment, platform, and poster sessions, etc. to increase awareness of company solutions.
  • Identifies opportunities to place RES speakers on panels, webinars, podcasts, etc. to reach target audiences, helping to develop messaging and materials.
  • Serves as Deputy Communications Coordinator on Crisis Management Team.
  • Supports media relations and monitoring activities, including drafting press releases, and talking points, coaching spokespeople, etc. as needed.
  • Supports site-based communications, community relations and client events, including open houses, ribbon-cuttings, etc., as needed.
  • Measures campaign performance against targets.
  • Establishes strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Advises stakeholders on the best approach, channels, and timing for communication.
  • Ensures alignment and consistency with the brand strategy, style, and tone of voice.
  • Tracks workload in editorial calendar/workload management software.
  • Measures and reports on channel performance using agreed-upon metrics.
  • Collaborates with Marcom team on other initiatives and projects.
  • Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
  • Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.

  • Solid research, analysis, and report preparation skills.

  • Comfortable working with a variety of software platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, communications, or a related field, required.
  • Master’s degree or other relevant continuing education, preferred.
  • 15 or more years of experience in marketing and communications, required.
  • 5 or more years of supervisory or people leadership experience, required. 
  • 5 or more years of experience in event-planning, including client and employee meetings and entertainment; community engagement activities such as open houses, tours, and public meetings; and conferences and trade shows, required.
  • 5 or more years of hands-on experience developing and delivering targeted multi-channel communications and content marketing campaigns to drive employee engagement, brand awareness, and/or generate thought leadership positioning, required.
  • Ability to travel domestically 16 to 30%.

Anticipated base salary range:  $160,000 – $188,000
 
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
