GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Partnerships Manager, a new position at BOL, holds the responsibility for fostering, soliciting, and nurturing relationships with Bridge of Life’s Founder, DaVita, as well as corporate and individual donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders to advance our mission of enhancing healthcare globally. This role is crucial for elevating Bridge of Life’s brand awareness and securing vital resources to implement our programs.

The Partnerships Manager will collaborate cross-functionally and contribute across the organization by overseeing the execution of fundraising events, volunteer activities, and other partnership initiatives. The Partnerships Manager is a new role developed by the organization to manage strategic relationships that enable BOL to expand its impact.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive. Fundraising and Communications
• Foster positive connections with essential stakeholders, with a focus on those at DaVita

• Ensure exceptional engagement experiences for donors and volunteers

• Support the organization and execution of fundraising events, including bike rides, golf tournaments, running events, and other initiatives where BOL serves as the beneficiary

• Manage in-kind donation support for program initiatives

• Nurture new fundraising opportunities within the DaVita Village and externally, while also enhancing and broadening existing fundraising strategies such as generating revenue through payroll donations

• Provide support to the “Move It with Purpose” annual fundraising event by managing sponsorship agreements, benefit fulfillment etc.
• Prepare presentations for different audiences including donor prospects, program partners and board members
• Maintain the donor database, tracking gifts and proposals that were approved, rejected and those in the pipeline
• Advocate and promote Bridge of Life’s mission by supporting communication efforts
Program Support
• Respond to all program-related inquiries from partners, volunteers and stakeholders
• Manage initiatives to mobilize volunteers in service projects to support kidney care globally
• Develop and maintain systems to manage partner and volunteer application requests across all programs
• Manage the organization of all program-related materials (including intake forms, surveys, applications, training materials, etc.).
• Support the creation of program materials, including volunteer Travel Guides, training materials, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), volunteer videos, slide decks and reports

• Provide other administrative support to BOL’s Program Directors as needed
Volunteer Recruitment & Engagement
• Identify and implement effective volunteer recruitment strategies for BOL medical missions and special projects
• Manage volunteer database, satisfaction surveys, testimonials, etc.
• Interview volunteer applicants and manage selection process to ensure requirements are met for successful mission execution
• Develop innovative resources to effectively prepare volunteers for medical trips in specific countries across the globe
• Develop strategies for volunteer appreciation and for equipping volunteers with the necessary tools to serve as effective ambassadors for BOL

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Relevant job experience
• Experience in the philanthropic sector preferred

• Strong project management and organization skills
• Excellent writing/editing skills, and overall strong communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build constructive relationships
• Ability to prioritize and adapt based on changing priorities
• Detail oriented, able to drive projects forward
• Ability to take initiative and to work independently to get the job done, but also cooperate effectively with
teams in-office and remotely
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and deadlines
• Capacity to organize, prioritize, manage and successfully execute multiple assignments simultaneously
within a timeline
• Knowledge of the global health sector is desirable

Other preferred skills and experiences include:
• Cross-cultural experiences
• Experience with RE NXT or other donor management/CRM systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Public speaking experience

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Domestic and international travel is a requirement of this position. Travel is estimated to be 10%.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift 25 pounds as packing and lifting boxes of supplies will be required for this position.

SALARY RANGE: $70-80k
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Salary/ Wage Range

$50,000.00 – $100,000.00 / year
