Description

Colorado Public Radio (CPR) is seeking a Fundraising Direct Response Specialist.

About the Position:

The Direct Response Specialist supports CPR's membership team by coordinating and executing high-volume fundraising campaigns that drive donor acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. This role brings fundraising campaigns to life by implementing multi-channel outreach that inspires audiences to support our mission. Working closely with colleagues and external partners, you'll coordinate campaigns from planning through delivery, ensuring they are audience-focused, well-organized, and launched on time across digital and direct mail channels. You'll also monitor campaign performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and apply data and testing to strengthen future fundraising efforts.

The new hire is expected to reside in the greater Denver metro area upon starting – this is not a remote position. However, a hybrid schedule is available that requires a minimum of 3 days in the office each week (Tues – Thurs).

About You:

You thrive in a role where organization and attention to detail make all the difference. You enjoy coordinating multiple projects at once, keeping work moving forward, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. You're naturally collaborative and communicate well with colleagues and partners, knowing great results come from working together. You're curious and enjoy testing new ideas, learning from results, and continuously looking for ways to improve. You're also a self-starter who takes initiative, works independently, and follows through on commitments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, fundraising communications, or a related field, with experience coordinating high-volume campaigns or projects and translating complex work into detailed execution plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor and adapt messaging to be clear, persuasive, audience-focused, and inspire action across multiple channels.
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver complex projects on time.
  • Experience using data and performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience using project management, workflow management, or campaign management software is preferred.

Education Equivalency:

  • A fully relatable bachelor’s or master’s degree may replace some (not all) of the required years of experience needed to qualify for the position, but is not required for the role.

Even if you don’t meet every qualification listed, we’re interested in candidates who can bring unique skills, perspectives, and experiences to the role. At Colorado Public Radio, we are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, equitable and authentic workplace. If you're excited about this role, but your past experience doesn't perfectly align with every qualification in the job posting, we encourage you to apply as you may be the right candidate for this or other roles with us.
