Marketing and Development Specialist

The Marketing and Development Specialist is responsible for marketing, public relations and social media functions. In addition, this professional will play an instrumental role in development functions, serving as the lead on two special events, supporting social media/direct mail campaigns, grants and managing volunteers.


The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to establish a contract for the professional services of a Public Information and Engagement Officer for the City of Manitou Springs. This individual will serve as the public information liaison between entire City system and community at-large and will develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate an overall community/public relations plan.

As Managing Editor your primary responsibility will be oversight of editorial content production of Women’s Running print and digital properties. The Managing Editor plans, assigns, edits and writes content for Women’s Running magazine and under the direction of the Editor-in-Chief.
