The Press and Community Engagement Coordinator reports to the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) to the Lt. Governor. This position is responsible for coordinating all press, community and stakeholder engagement, and communications needs for the Office of the Lt. Governor and its programs.

We are seeking an experienced communications professional to join EchoStar’s Corporate Communications team. The Corporate Communications Lead will support several key EchoStar business lines: DISH TV, Sling TV and Boost Mobile in the development and execution of integrated communications strategies that engage media and drive subscriber acquisition.
The position may be a paid position and/or for school credit. However, the candidate must currently be a student attending a trade school, college, or university or must have graduated from post-secondary education in the last six (6) months.
The Communications Specialist helps deliver clear, consistent, and professional messaging across multiple platforms, including digital, print, and social media. This role supports communication efforts for both internal and external audiences by sharing information about City initiatives and programs, assisting with outreach for projects and events, and providing content that fosters trust, transparency, and engagement.
This role will focus on leading communications campaigns, social media management and content development. This position will manage large annual communication and engagement campaigns for programs, events and services. They will oversee all CCOB social media channels and manage the weekly e-newsletter to the community.
