The Regional VP of Philanthropy leads and advances the fundraising strategy for Mercy Housing’s Mountain Plains region. In partnership with the regional Board of Directors and local and national leadership, this role identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards philanthropic support from a range of funding sources including corporations, foundations, workplace giving campaigns, government programs, faith-based organizations, and major individual donors.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED is IWE’s chief executive and primary external representative. The ED provides strategic vision and leadership, advances the convening mission, cultivates funder and stakeholder relationships, and leads the IWE team to execute programming and build a sustainable institution. Given IWE’s currently lean organizational model, the ED is expected to be a hands-on leader who both sets direction and executes effectively.
Our Patient Relations Intern will gain communication and outreach experience through direct engagement with transplant patients and medical centers. They will support the Patient Assistance and 1+1=LIFE Mentorship Programs, connect with transplant center staff and patients, and help gather insights to improve services for the transplant community. The intern will also assist in developing strategies to share and maximize the impact of patient testimonials.
Our Grant Research and Development Intern will gain experience in nonprofit fundraising by researching funding opportunities and supporting the grant application process. Code Ninjas Denver – Lowry is hiring a part-time coding instructor to help kids learn programming and build video games in a fun, supportive environment. Applicants should have some computer science or coding knowledge and experience working with children. Schedule is Tue, Wed, Thurs. afternoons (3–6 PM) and Saturdays (8:45–12:15), with additional hours available during summer camps. Pay is $20–$24 per hour depending on experience.
