As part of the DEN Chief of Staff portfolio, the Culture & Strategy Division is responsible for leading DEN’s efforts in the following areas impacting the entire organization, including our stakeholders: (1) Strategy & Innovation; (2) Airport Access & Business Opportunity; and (3) Strategic Outreach & Engagement.
This position will be responsible for daily management, promotion and operation of Ritchie Center Events, with an emphasis on NCAA athletic events. Responsibilities include monitoring, directing, delegating, controlling and managing ritchie center event coordination (to include all technical aspects of event set-up within the facility or on the playing fields) to provide a quality customer experience and to maximize fiscal opportunities.
The Senior Sales & Event Manager reports to the Director of Event Sales & Operations and is responsible for all aspects of event sales and planning for at least 60, and up to 80 annual events including event conceptualization to supervising day-of floor captain staff. The Senior Sales & Event Manager participates in a variety of sales functions to pursue new prospects and event retention sales opportunities, while planning and organizing logistical and technical details for events.
