This position is responsible for designing and advancing a comprehensive event services model that enhances the College’s academic mission, strengthens the student experience, supports institutional priorities, and fosters meaningful community engagement.
This role delivers high-quality customer experiences by coordinating logistics, facilitating technology and A/V services, and providing on-site event support. The coordinator works directly with community customers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless planning and execution of events aligned with DCL’s service standards.
Plan and deliver District recognition and community engagement events that reflect the District’s vision and values. Manages all aspects of event logistics, budgets, and evaluation while leading employee recognition processes and supporting leadership and alumni engagement programs. Support communications efforts by creating compelling stories and materials that highlight student, family, alumni, and community impact.
As the organization’s primary meetings and events professional, this role manages logistics, event logistics and operations, pre-event planning, vendor relationships, and post-event analysis to ensure exceptional educational and networking experiences. Key responsibilities include oversight of internal and external company events, meetings, conferences, coordination of partner-led programs, and industry conference and sponsorship management.
