The Director of Demand Generation and Client Acquisition will be responsible for building a team, marketing strategies, and programs to grow and accelerate Optiv sales pipeline. She/he will provide strategic leadership in developing a cohesive demand generation function, and will assume ownership for the creation and execution of all demand generation plans using email, advertising, web optimization, content marketing, email, live events and other tactics to reliably meet sales pipeline and conversion targets. This role will serve as both a team leader and individual contributor.
The role will help define and build a scalable demand gen model including the definition of all promotional goals, messaging, promotional content, activity, cadence, budget, resource management and calendaring of all plans. He/she ensures alignment against corporate strategic initiatives, solution (service and product) areas, revenue targets, and pipeline attribution/rebate attainment of key technology partners.
Candidates considered for the Director of Demand Generation and Client Acquisition role will have a solid B2B technology based marketing background in driving pipeline, are experienced in modern demand generation practices, have a fluid understand of marketing systems and tools, are data driven, possess an extensive track record building and leading a team, can forge tight relationships across sales, marketing, services and OEM technology partners. Cybersecurity experience is preferred, as well as deep understanding of OEM/Channel relationship along with co-op funding models. Optiv has deep relationships with dozens of leading security product manufacturers that influence their go to market strategy and present an infinite number of cross promotional opportunities. Key to this role will be the ability to fluidly understand the partner ecosystem, their technologies, and be able to drive strategic joint marketing plans.
