The Policy Director is responsible for directing the organization’s efforts to achieve policy change that advances equity, racial, social and economic justice, and civil rights for Latinas and Latinos in the central mountain region of Colorado. This position manages a complex portfolio of advocacy and policy programs and initiatives, including Latino Advocacy Day.

Assistant City Attorney

he Assistant City Attorney may represent the city before administrative agencies, in municipal or water court, trial and appellate courts, at board and commission meetings, in real property transactions, or numerous other specialty areas. The CAO offers the opportunity to be involved in challenging, meaningful, and often cutting-edge legal work in service to the Englewood community.

Senior Policy and Planning Specialist (Forest Service)

This position develops and executes multi-faceted strategies to defend and secure new conservation protections, initiatives, policies and laws for at-risk species on National Forest System lands by working with agency decision-makers, influencing members of Congress, building coalitions and coordinating relevant environmental community advocacy efforts, and, when necessary, supporting strategic litigation, among other activities.

Director of Government Relations

The Director of Government Relations develops strategies and directs all government relations and advocacy activities to create awareness and secure support for the Zoo’s mission and initiatives. This role involves strategic leadership, collaboration with key stakeholders, and effective communication to further DZCA’s mission and goals.

Director of the Office of Environmental Justice

The EJ Office director oversees the Office in compliance with all relevant legislation and in close coordination with the Department’s executive director.
