Children’s Diabetes Foundation is looking for a Major Gifts Officer to be a key member of the Development Team. The Major Gifts Officer will be responsible for identifying, soliciting, and cultivating major donors throughout Colorado and beyond. They will be responsible for growing the organization’s major donor base with a goal of raising $1 million per year with a portfolio of up to 125 donor relationships.

This role will lead efforts to secure financial support from individuals and family foundations, build and manage a high-performing donor portfolio, and strengthen a culture of philanthropy and donor engagement across the site.

Development Officer

As the Development Officer you will be responsible for all aspects of assigned events, outreach activities, various aspects of individual giving, and utilizes the Champion database, Raiser’s Edge, to drive revenue.

Grant Specialist

The Grant Specialist is responsible for researching and identifying grant opportunities, developing, writing, and submitting grant proposals, and managing and reporting on grant awards to support the City’s Parks and Recreation Department.
