The Membership and Development Manager will play a lead role in leading Water Education Colorado’s overall Membership program and development and fundraising initiatives. This position’s primary responsibilities include supporting and building the organization’s membership base and developing financial support for programs via cultivating and maintaining a diverse revenue portfolio of sponsorships, donations, grants and special events.

The University of Denver is seeking a talented professional to join our Advancement team as the Associate Director of Development, Annual Giving Signature Campaigns. The Associate Director is a part of the Development team within DU Advancement. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Development, Annual Giving, the Associate Director is responsible for building a culture of philanthropy and generosity among University of Denver students, faculty, staff, recent graduates, and alumni.
The Director of Annual Giving is responsible for planning and implementing strategies for identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual donors to support the mission of the YMCA.
This position provides leadership to the team-based philanthropic efforts to support the mission. Working in partnership with operational and strategic leaders in the organization, the role connects organizational priorities and needs with donors’ passions and interests. This role engages major philanthropists to transform healthcare and create healthier communities and fosters a culture of gratitude throughout the organization and communities served.
The VP Development is responsible for leading, managing, inspiring, and implementing the Denver fundraising campaigns through strategic direction and leadership of a team of fundraising leaders, along with recruitment and leadership of executive volunteer partnerships.
Responsible for managing all aspects related to the implementation of assigned Special Events including recruitment of volunteer committees, sponsors, teams and individual participants. Responsible for achieving revenue and participant goals, overseeing the budget, adhering to a 12-month event timeline, event logistics, and expansion of fundraising events that build and strengthen connections to potential and existing volunteers and donors.
