The Events Manager at Tennyson Center for Children will play a critical role in the creation, planning and execution of all of Tennyson’s fundraising events, as well as supporting various fundraising and marketing campaigns. This position reports directly to the Director of Philanthropy and works closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications.

As Director of Advancement, you’ll drive strategy, spark innovation, and lead a comprehensive fundraising program that advances its mission and impact. You’ll work with an exceptional team—including a skilled communications team, a dedicated database manager, and a part-time team member focused on administrative support, so you have what it takes to succeed.
This position is responsible for coordinating donor communications, managing event logistics, and maintaining accurate donor data to help deepen relationships and grow philanthropic support. The Development Coordinator will collaborate across teams to ensure a seamless donor experience, support the execution of appeals and events, and play a vital role in ensuring operational excellence within the Development team.
The position is responsible for annual fundraising, corporate and foundation relations, major and planned gifts, gift/fund management, capital and comprehensive campaigns, alumni and constituent relations, scholarship management, donor stewardship, and advancement services as well as providing leadership to the Foundation Board of Director and oversight of the Foundation’s operations.
