This is an editorial role at the intersection of editing, writing, audience strategy and product development. You’ll oversee our flagship daily newsletter, ensure it reflects the newsroom’s strongest journalism and voice, and help expand additional newsletter products that serve distinct community needs, including growing our food and drink newsletter and helping launch new topic-focused newsletters as opportunities arise.
The Partnerships Editor is a key member of HCN’s Editorial department who will coordinate and manage the work of writers embedded in other newsrooms through the Western Environmental Reporting Collaborative, helping them to deliver smart and engaging short-form news and analysis in service to the region’s diverse communities. This position works closely with senior editorial staff, collaborates across the editorial department, and coordinates with partner newsroom editors and writers.
