The Denver Post is seeking a reporter to cover the Denver Broncos, our most high-profile sports beat. This position is for the No. 2 spot on our Broncos coverage team. We are looking for a great teammate who will work in tandem with our lead Broncos reporter to blanket the beat in a highly competitive environment. This person will be responsible for providing fresh content for our website and writing stories sophisticated enough for the most ardent football fans.
The Wolzien News Deserts Initiatives Manager will organize efforts to address structural challenges facing Colorado’s news deserts, as well as serve as DU’s primary liaison to local news outlets statewide. This position will also coordinate DU’s outreach to high school journalists across Colorado.
This position will cover the Four Corners region which includes Farmington and San Juan County in New Mexico and Montezuma County in Colorado.Experienced and enterprising reporters are preferred. Reporters at Ballantine Communications are focused on readership and a growing online audience. We publish three printed editions per week in Farmington, NM and one per week in Cortez, reporters frequently are required to provide photos for their stories.
The City Government Reporter is responsible for covering a multitude of topics, notably public policy, public safety, budgeting and taxpayer spending, and local government such as city councils, county commissions and school boards. This reporter will also handle breaking news, features and general assignments, including business coverage and other issues, as assigned.
The Managing Editor will manage BRL’s day-to-day newsroom operations, driving coverage and ensuring stories are edited and published on schedule. This person will manage the editorial calendar, coordinate assignments and deadlines across staff reporters, freelancers and contributors, and track stories from assignment through publication.
