The role also supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Title VI Program, which includes the Language Access Plan and Public Participation Plan.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will be to assist GAGPP with policy research and analysis and perform a variety of administrative, analytical, and operational support duties. You will be part of a nimble, dynamic, and service-focused team, led by the Senior Vice President (SVP) of GAGPP.
You will help work with the Boards and Commission team to help oversee the appointment process for over 330+ boards, commissions, task forces, and committees across the state that are appointed by the Governor. Help make recommendations to the Governor and Chief of Staff on who should be appointed after robust vetting and recruitment processes.
The Director sets the operational vision for an integrated system of facilities and programs that promote health, wellness, and community connection, overseeing offerings that span youth, adult, and senior programming, sports leagues, adaptive recreation, and specialized amenities such as aquatic and ice facilities, a working farm, and a pottery studio.
