Public Works Director

The Public Works Director provides strategic leadership in delivering essential infrastructure, community services, and capital investments across Adams County. The Director will report to the Deputy County Manager for Infrastructure and Development.  The Director leads a diverse team responsible for engineering, construction management, right of way services, stormwater management, operations and maintenance, traffic services, and administration.

Public Affairs Manager

We are seeking a Public Affairs Manager to play a critical role in engaging with external stakeholders to enhance public safety in our communities. Reporting to the Director of Public Affairs, this role will focus on collaborating with cross-functional partners to engage with local elected officials, grassroots/grasstops organizations, and community leaders.

Apprenticeship Coordinator

The Apprenticeship Coordinator will serve as an industry lead for outreach and as a technical expert for launching, expanding, and recruiting for registered apprenticeship programs throughout the state. Applicants must reside in Colorado during the position tenure, if offered the position.

This position will work with senior leaders, support community facing meetings and presentations, and manage strategies to promote the agency’s mission and vision.

Aquatics Coordinator

The City of Golden is seeking an Aquatics Coordinator to support daily operations of our aquatic facilities. This role oversees swim lessons, lifeguard staff, scheduling, and safety compliance while delivering excellent customer service. Ideal candidates have strong leadership skills, aquatics experience, and a passion for community recreation in a fast-paced environment.

Makerspace Manager

The Makerspace Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, promoting and evaluating makerspace programs for patrons of all ages. The Manager provides the vision and collaborative direction for STEAM programs system-wide, oversees the short- and long-term operations, safety and programs of library makerspaces; develops and fosters community relationships to increase the appeal, attendance and overall customer satisfaction of library maker and STEAM programs.

State Fair Program & Vendor Coordinator (Administrator III)

The purpose of this position is to help coordinate and assist the Programming & Partnerships Department. This includes year round and Fair time marketing and social media, in conjunction with the Programming & Partnerships Director and the contracted marketing agency. Position will assist in fulfillment of attraction setup, food and commercial vendors, sponsorship, and special events for the annual Fair.
