The Executive Director of Groundworks Denver plays a key external role by promoting the organization’s work and cultivating relationships with a diverse range of supporters and stakeholders. At the same time, the Executive Director oversees the nonprofit business operations, generating sound decisions and delegating responsibilities to ensure that the organization delivers results while meeting its responsibilities to funders, governmental agencies, and the community.

Annual & Legacy Giving Manager

The Annual & Legacy Giving Manager is an integral part of the JFS Development team with a focus most of their time on donor cultivation, solicitation, relationship, and pipeline management for annual fund donors and planned giving prospects. The position reports to the Director of Development. This team works in a hybrid work model with days in the office/community and working remotely.

Geotechnical Engineer

The Geotechnical Engineer performs technical, project management, advocacy, and engineering work in close coordination with and under the general direction of the Director of Asset Management/Chief Engineer. This position includes analyzing, interpreting, and managing dam embankment instrumentation data and ensuring the integrity and safety of dam structures through diligent monitoring and technical studies. The role involves project management responsibilities.

Executive Director

Reports to the Groundwork Denver Board of Directors and supervises the Associate Director, Finance Manager, Development Director, and HR/Office Manager, the Executive Director develops and implements the organization’s strategic direction, works hands-on with staff and Board members to align new strategies with all aspects of the organization’s program, fundraising, and administrative activities.

Events & Sponsorship Coordinator

The Colorado Restaurant Association (CRA) and its Foundation (CRF) seeks an Events & Sponsorship Coordinator. Assists the Events and Sponsorship Manger in all aspects of planning and executing all events and meetings, assists with event sponsorship fulfillment, and handles registration and other duties related to the ServSafe program.

Development Associate

The Development Associate works with the Chorale’s Development Director on strategies and activities to support all fundraising efforts, raising $500,000+ annually in contributed income for the Chorale’s $2 million operating budget. While the primary focus of the Development Associate is grant writing and management, the position is involved in all aspects of development including the Annual Fund, Donor and Alumni Engagement, Stewardship, and Events.

Event Associate

Reporting to the Events Supervisor of ACES (Arvada Center Event Spaces), this hourly nonexempt position is an essential component in the execution of Event Orders for the Arvada Center’s Ballrooms and special events as requested throughout the facility.

Proposal Coordinator

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented person with a minimum of 4 years of experience to support our proposal, communications, marketing, and various project efforts. The role is focused on proposal development, marketing, basic graphic design, and the development of other content that supports the studio. The majority of the work will be on proposal development and and other marketing efforts with some support on office projects.
