Under the general direction of the Deputy City Manager, the Information Technology (IT) Manager is responsible for the success of multiple information technology functional areas.
The IT Manager provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of our information technology systems; coordinates the integration of data, information, and communications systems and serves as the catalyst for new systems development; performs a variety of complex technical duties related to the installation, management, and support of the City’s telephone, computer and server systems; provides training and end-user support for hardware, operating system, application software, and network connectivity issues; and leads, mentors and develops IT staff.
